For most the real attraction of Yangshuo is not what you can do, but where you are. The area is simply put ‘Stunning’ The truly unique caste landscape can be seen in very few parts of world and never to this scale. If you have ever looked at a Chinese painting and been drawn to the mystical landscapes, with silhouetted mountains surrounded by mists and flowing rivers, you had a glimpse of the true Yangshuo
The area is vast with countless beautiful views and picturesque scenes. Hidden mountain villages, waterfalls, caves, ancient bridges, open fields of golden rice, bamboo grooves, mist filled valleys the list goes on and on. Given the diversity and beauty of the landscape we have tried to break down some of the key spots for you below, there’s a lot more, but some we feel needs to be discovered in person.
